Have you bought a splitboard and still feel like a bull in a china shop? Don’t worry, you don’t need to know how to ski to understand the deal with your splitboard. Join us and we will teach you efficient climbing techniques so that you can enjoy the descent as much as possible: kick turn (it is not a boxing punch 🙂 ), climbing in a Z track, handling and maintenance of climbing skins, etc. We know that the splitboard tours are intended to off-piste areas where the danger of avalanches is real. So we will spend some time to discuss the use of individual avalanche rescue equipment: shovel + probe + transceiver. Our splitboard instructors come from the backcountry riding area and will prepare the best explanations so that at the end of the course riding a splitboard will be your element.

* individual avalanche rescue equipment is mandatory (transceiver, probe, shovel, backpack). If you don’t own one we can bring it to for the price of 60 RON. Spliboading equipment (board, bindings, skins, poles) rent cost is 150 lei. Cable transport, including that of the instructor, is not included in the price and is paid separately by the students.
